CLMS (Chatbot Learning Management System) is the website platform for this project "Improving the Student Learning Experience: Helping Teachers Develop and Utilise Chatbot". This project aims to improve the student learning experience by helping teachers develop and utilise chatbot to complement classroom and/or online teaching.

Students in the self-financing tertiary education sector have diverse backgrounds and varying learning paths. This project will help teachers understand and master chatbot technology through a series of seminars, workshops, a website, and synchronous online learning sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness.

This project helps teachers develop and utilise chatbot through a series of activities:

• Attend seminars and workshops to understand the concepts, technologies, skills, and precautions of chatbots
• Learn how to develop chatbots suitable for your courses through synchronous online learning sessions
• Browse our Resources page to download relevant user guides and tutorial videos
• Share chatbot usage experiences with other teachers to collectively enhance teaching effectiveness

The chatbot feature of this project aims to help teachers develop chatbots for their own courses. Through seminars, workshops, and synchronous online learning sessions in this project, teachers will learn how to develop and use chatbots.

Chatbots can provide 24-hour instant feedback, breaking through the time and location constraints of traditional teaching, which is particularly suitable for students who need flexible learning arrangements, such as part-time students.

Yes, this project is funded by QESS (Quality Enhancement Support Scheme) with a grant of HK$1,472,920. It is free for institutions and users participating in this project. This is a public service project aimed at enhancing educational quality.

This project welcomes teachers from our institution and other self-financing tertiary education institutions to participate and jointly promote the application of chatbots in teaching.

CLMS is designed to be user-friendly and does not require special technical background. We provide complete user guides and teaching resources to help you get started quickly. If you encounter any problems during use, you can also contact our support team at any time.

Currently, CLMS mainly supports Traditional Chinese and English. In the future, we plan to expand more language support to serve a wider user base.
